Students are given quizzes and exams throughout the program to gauge the progress of the class. Emphasis is placed on learning the material in the exam rather than assigning a letter or number grade to it. All questions on the exams are studied and reviewed during class to determine the "why" of the correct answer and the "why not" of the incorrect answer. If a student does not pass an exam, the student may take it again after adequate study and review of the problem area(s).
